The Wines

Our approach has evolved to one that is a little unconventional – different from what we have done previously, and a bit more left-of-centre in terms of what is expected from Margs. But don't worry, we're still all about making drinks that showcase the region and are totally delicious, just with a fresh new twist. 
  • All our wines are vegan friendly.

  • The winery, cellar door & warehouse are fitted with solar panels.

  • We choose compostable when possible. Compost is then put to good use in the vineyard.

  • All of the water we use is captured rainwater.

  • We reuse or repurpose when possible and recycle otherwise.

  • We make sustainable and environmentally conscious decisions whenever possible.

  • Insects are vital members of our team; biodiversity is essential in the vineyard.

  • Our waterways are surrounded by natives that attract insects and wildlife.

  • We plant cover crops to outcompete weeds, aerate the soil and plough them back in to enrich the soil.

  • Our wines have minimal inputs.
